How to actually win, no seriously win

Have you ever thought of achieving something? obviously, almost every single human has. Anyway if you have then you might know a thing or two about winning and what his brother called failure. Certainly, people who have tried to win have either won or lost.

Winning in anything either sport, business, goals, and so forth has one thing in common losing. Look at a winning team, a winning business, a winning individual, and the like. With a little bit of investigation, you will come to find out that they have lost in their practice and I might add they might have lost big time.

Let me give you an example the successful company called Amazon, in 2014 produced a phone called the fire phone some analysts believed it would turn out to be a revolutionary type of product but a year later, the same phone was pulled out of production. Long story short it was a failure, and guess what was the cost? a whopping $170 million.

Now as much as that sounds shocking the founder and CEO of the company Jeff Bezzo was unfaced in an interview he said, "if you think that is a big failure, we are working on much bigger failures right now. " In other words, he knows failure is inevitable and as a big winner, you have to get comfortable with big losses.

We might just as well say that losing is winning in disguise, the same company(Amazon) went ahead and launched the amazon website service (AWS) which as of now is the best revenue collector for the company, quoted as bringing in as much as 60% of total revenue.

So Oliver how does a company and an American CEO have to do with me? someone is asking, well first they are human-like anyone, second, they aspire to achieve like anyone, and lastly, they lose like any of us, the point is the moral of the story.

So how do you win? simple, get comfortable with losing. After all, there is no sure thing on this earth even in heaven, we have to die to see it. We just believe it is there, believes you can achieve what you want to, and if you fail you have won by learning a way that does not work. Just remember, if you are losing you are winning but do not get it twisted you do not go with the mentality of losing no, losing is a means to the end, not the end.
