what a year, 2020!

Hey, what a year! surely if you have been in this year, you have seen some shit and I mean it, this is the kind of year that ends, and you say thank you to your God. I mean this year has had its highs and lows but something that will stand out is that it has taught us all some pretty important stuff.

I remember vividly how 2019 was coming to an end and how I was looking forward to this year with all the aspirations and vigor to indulge in my activities and endeavors. I set the resolutions and boom the year started.

It picked off well until the pandemic was on our borders and now we had a master at our doorstep and environs dictating how we were going to live from thereon. The pandemic hit out of nowhere and soon what actually mattered the most mattered the least.

People had plans to travel, take vacations, do stuff, this and that, but when the pandemic hit it was all about taking care and preserving the precious life they had. Perhaps this was to show us how we have taken what matters most(life/health/freedom e.t.c.) for granted, but even a more true fact is that death, is just anytime.

I have to confess though this has been a great year for me it is funny I might add that 2020 might be the best year of my life, I have had a blast not to brag but I have accomplished part of my resolutions and goals. More importantly, the year 2020 has made me more motivated to look forward to the year 2021. Please do not get me wrong I have had my failures just like everyone else but what is life without failures, and the year 2020 is evidence of that. As this year comes to a close I have nothing but more energy, courage, willpower, and eagerness to engage with the year 2021 and see what it has in store.

Perhaps the year 2020 did not go well for you, perhaps you did not accomplish what you had set out to, or perhaps you have accomplished part of, or the whole, either way, it does not matter what matters is you are here and that means you are going to face next year so keep on keeping on set those resolutions/goals/to-dos/ and so forth and remember it is always a day at a time as always thanks for reading our post. I wish you happy holidays and a very prosperous 2021.🙂

Dare

The greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. The people who risk nothing, do nothing, have nothing, are nothing. They may avoid suffering and sorrow, but they cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love, and live. Chained by their attitudes they are slaves; they have forfeited their freedom. Only a person who risks is free. People, who risk may go through things that seem self-inflicting you know someone looking from the outside so to speak might ask what in the world is this guy thinking? why go through all that? why try you know how difficult it is? These are the people who don't risk anything thinking it's the best decision in the short term but in the long run, those who have risked are the ones who enjoy life, feel, change, find their path, grow, and live fulfilling lives. Just like a plant that is in a cocooned place will always look dull unlike a plant that faces all the elements, is usually more vibrant. Here is my point always try, risk, feel, love, and don't ...
