When Things are Not working out

Hey there, Now today, I would like to talk about an issue I think affects every one of us. You know we are so into winning in life that we are planning for things to work out as we expect not that I am against it, and as much as there are techniques, tactics, and plans to achieve a certain goal. We have to admit that sometimes it does not work out as we expect and this would lead to some discouragement if not quitting.

I like the way author and powerful speaker, Simon Sinek puts it, 'plan for the fact that planning never goes to plan.' So what is my point? In as much as we always plan, we will never have a secure and sure plan and at times we get into something most business people call the dip. You know where you are not going forward or backward almost like in a see-saw(up, down movement). Having said that we have to remember that we have to plan even in the midst of the deep or in other words when things are not working out.

Perhaps that is the point where you stop, ponder, and analyze what went wrong. What did you not consider in your plans or techniques? I think these dips or obstacles happen for a reason so to speak and we should realize that they are not here to stop us but rather to show us that it will not work out that way. So instead of getting beat down, discourage, and filling like a failure, we should turn it around and be happy that we have known a way that it does not work out. Wait for a second, Oliver are you telling us to be happy to fail? No, I am not saying you look forward to failure. I am saying you plan, but if things do not work out as you expect you do not beat yourself down, you raise yourself up and find your way around that dip, that obstacle.

So to summarise, In life you Will hit your face on the ground, life will knock you out cold. You will fail at some point but as things are not working out this is the time you get back up look at what is the cause, plan again, and get back in the game. Remember they say "those who win are not the best planners, the strongest, or the ones with all the resources. Winners win for the subtle fact that they think they can win."

Dare

The greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. The people who risk nothing, do nothing, have nothing, are nothing. They may avoid suffering and sorrow, but they cannot learn, feel, change, grow, love, and live. Chained by their attitudes they are slaves; they have forfeited their freedom. Only a person who risks is free. People, who risk may go through things that seem self-inflicting you know someone looking from the outside so to speak might ask what in the world is this guy thinking? why go through all that? why try you know how difficult it is? These are the people who don't risk anything thinking it's the best decision in the short term but in the long run, those who have risked are the ones who enjoy life, feel, change, find their path, grow, and live fulfilling lives. Just like a plant that is in a cocooned place will always look dull unlike a plant that faces all the elements, is usually more vibrant. Here is my point always try, risk, feel, love, and don't ...
