Hey, In life, we are influenced from the day we are born, I mean think of where you are born your siblings, your friends, and most significantly your parents. While we are always trying to be ourselves we cannot deny the fact that influence plays a major role in what we believe in

So what am I getting at? Well I think who you are ought to be shaped by you and you alone I mean it is easier said than done. Here is my point, Influence will play a major role in our lives and as much as we would not like to admit it, it happens. The people and the environment you are in will influence you in a good way or a bad way, whether you are aware of it or not.

You know most of the time we tend to lie to ourselves that if something is affecting someone else it cannot affect me. Well for your information it does, so my message to you is, to be cautious of who you are letting influence you. I mean you know yourself better than me, remember there is a good thing about this and that is you have the power to choose. The power to choose who you want to influence you, who you want to be friends with, but either way whether you decide to choose or not one will be chosen for you.

To summarise if you can not follow your own conviction you are following someone else's. In other words, if you have decided to be great you can not be around mediocre people, if you have decided you want to live courageously you can not be around cowardly people. I guess it is as they say 'birds of the same feather flock together.' Remember who you want to be is solely your own decision but if you do not make that decision it will be made for you. And I do not know about you but I would rather make that decision myself.

By the way, what I am suggesting is not plug and play, It is unbelievably difficult but you know, as they say, if it was easier everyone would be doing it. My hope is you will find the courage and the strength to follow yourself.
